Daniel John Graper, has a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Delaware and has studied with notable guitarists Peter Segal, in Philadelphia’s University of the Arts, and Fred Hand in New York City. Mr. Graper has been featured by “Guitar Player” magazine, Delaware’s “TV Host,” and “Fine Times Music” publications for his playing and original compositions. Dan has served as head guitar instructor at both the Wilmington Music School and the Yorklyn Center for the Creative Arts in Delaware.
Dan holds several awards in music composition for solo guitar and also guitar and flute. Honors include the Delaware State Music Teachers Award of “Distinguished Composer of the year “ and he is also the Delaware Arts Council fellowship recipient in music composition.

In addition to classical guitar, Dan is also a talented jazz guitarist and has studied with the Philadelphia jazz guitar legends Dennis Sandole, Jimmy Bruno, and Pat Martino, as well as Los Angeles studio recording artist Carol Kaye.
Dan performs regularly in the Philadelphia tri-state area as a soloist and with variety of different musical ensembles.
